About the Company

The YWCA of Jerusalem, located in Sheikh Jarrah East Jerusalem, is a membership-based women organization registered locally as non-governmental.  The YWCA works under four main thematic areas: Women and youth Economic Development, Women’s Rights Programs, Youth Leadership, Training and Civic Engagement as well as Children Education and Cognitive Learning.

Under the women and youth economic development, YWCA of Jerusalem has been offering, among others, a diploma in Multimedia where graduates acquire successful jobs and startups. Currently, YWCA of Jerusalem is aiming to upgrade this diploma specialization and make it compatible with the current market needs and technological advancements.

Job Description

We seek to contract a professional consultant to support the restructuring and enhancement of the Diploma Multimedia specialization offered in one academic year covering the fields of multimedia concepts, visual production, (graphic design, video production and editing), audio production and integration, web and interactive media, portfolio and final project. The consultant will advise on the titles, outlines and curricula needed to offer this comprehensive specialization in one academic year (which is 300 hours) and supervise the implementation of the diploma specialization.

The beneficiaries are young females and males who do not necessarily have a background in Multimedia and are planning to start an employment path and/or a startup in this field.

Main Tasks

  1. Curricula Development

Frequency: Curricula development performed one time only, and takes place before the start of the academic year

Tasks include:

• Reviewing current material and current practices and experiences

• Structuring and dividing the curriculum into course titles, duration, and detailed course descriptions. For each course

• Organizing the courses into stand-alone yet interconnected modules, allowing students to enroll in individual modules or complete the full diploma.

  1. Follow-up on Implementation

Frequency: Average of 4 hours per month over 9 months

Follow up includes:

• Supervising and reviewing course outlines and implementation plans prepared by the diploma trainers, ensuring they are aligned with market needs and technological advancements.

• Conducting monthly meetings with trainers to discuss progress, maintain synergy across modules, and address challenges related to cross-cutting topics.

  1. Evaluation

Frequency: Three deliverables — pre-evaluation, post-evaluation, and final report

Evaluation includes:

• Conducting pre- and post-evaluations to assess the implementation and effectiveness of the curricula.

• Preparing a final report summarizing lessons learned, success stories, and recommendations for future improvement and curriculum enhancement.

 

  Ability to work with flexible hours

Requirements
Proven professional experience in one or more field of multimedia concepts (visual production, (graphic design, video production and editing), Audio production and integration, Web and interactive media,
Proven professional experience in designing and preparing relevant curricula and supervising their proper implementation.
