Job Description

Join a leading AI research initiative as a Criminal Justice Researcher, collaborating with top experts to advance AI reasoning in legal and law enforcement contexts. This short-term, project-based role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in criminal justice and a passion for shaping the future of AI.

Opportunity Details:

Remote and asynchronous work—set your own schedule.
10–20 hours per week, for 2–3 months, with potential for follow-on work.
Independent contractor role with weekly payments via Stripe Connect.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and refine AI-generated content related to criminal justice topics.

Develop prompts, questions, and evaluation rubrics for AI training.

Review case-based materials for accuracy, relevance, and realism.

Provide expert feedback on legal and procedural correctness.

Collaborate with AI researchers to simulate real-world criminal justice workflows.

Requirements

Graduate degree in criminal justice, criminology, law, or related field.

3+ years of professional experience in research or applied practice.

Deep familiarity with U.S. legal systems, police procedures, or case law.

Excellent written communication and critical analysis skills.

Experience in research, teaching, or technical writing is a plus.
