6+ years experience in business and human rights, ideally with considerable knowledge in international human rights.
Theoretical and/or practical knowledge on international labour rights and the garment and apparel sector, with specialist knowledge on collective bargaining.
Qualified in law (LLM mandatory; LLB preferred), with sufficient knowledge of business and human rights laws and regulations on national and regional level.
Practical experience working with a variety of actors including businesses, civil society organisations, and governmental institutions.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative to achieve a given outcome by identifying and acting on the necessary steps without needing detailed instructions.
Able to lead a team, working towards a common goal and respectful of differentiating working approaches.
Flexible, versatile, and creative and able to work in a changeable & fast-moving environment.
Proactive character, suggesting solutions and approaches, anticipating problems, and foreseeing potential challenges.
Able to think practically, to break down and pursue the elements required to operationalise a strategy.
