The A.M. Qattan Foundation is seeking to recruit a motivated junior individual for the position of IT Assistant to work in its offices in Ramallah. The following is the description of this position:

Responsibilities & Duties:
Technical and End User Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner and escalate to IT Manager where needed.
- Provide First level techشnical support and assistance to end users for hardware and software issues.
- Manage printing system, including printer setup, driver installation, and resolving printing-related problems.
- Assist with the Cisco Unified Telephone System, including phone setup, voicemail configuration, and troubleshooting telephony issues.
- Schedule and coordinate computer-related services, maintenance, and license renewals.
Networking and firewalls
- Assist in supporting and maintaining the network infrastructure as required by the Foundation's IT policy.
- Assist in supporting and maintaining network security services.
IT Inventory and procurement support
- Assist in the procurement processes of IT equipment, systems, and applications by providing specifications and analysis.
- Maintain and regularly update the IT inventory and generate the needed reports.
Managerial Tasks
- Implement Foundation IT policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and security.
- Maintain accurate records of IT occurrences and issues, as well as their resolutions.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements in IT procedures and workflows.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services to end users and stakeholders.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
