Eighteen (18) participants will be selected to participate in Amideast's Skills for Success® Employability Program sponsored by America house.

Amideast’s 120-hour Skills for Success® Employability Program will benefit 18 participants in Ramallah and Jerusalem by equipping them with employability skills like communication, interview skills, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, time management and business-related technology skills, as well as a business English module. This program is designed to increase personal awareness, workplace skills valued by employers, job search strategies and resources, and to provide a community-impact experience.

Skills for Success program consists of 2 main parts:

Part 1 (Face-to-face /from January to April 2023):  Personal and professional skills such as communication skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork that provides participants with business-related technology skills. Skills for Success® provides youth with increased personal awareness, improved English language proficiency, workplace skills valued by employers, job search strategies and resources, and a community-impact experience.

Part 2- Participants will also benefit from a 20-hour Business English module designed to enhance their English language skills in areas such as grammar, reading, vocabulary, writing, listening, and speaking, all in a business context.


Eligibility Criteria:
1) Fresh university graduate
2) Residing in Jerusalem or Ramallah/or willing to travel to Ramallah for training
3) University graduate (B.A. degree)
4) Upper-intermediate English language skills
5) Unemployed, proactive and eager to enter the workforce
6) Is not a U.S citizen or green card holder.

Training Period: January 2023 to April 2023

Training Schedule: Three times a week face-to-face meetings in Ramallah
