On behalf of the Bundesministerium fuer wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit (BMZ) the Civil Peace Service (CPS) of the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH offers two parallel programmes which complement each other:

1. Psychosocial support for children and young people, and

2. Social cohesion and violence prevention by culture and sport activities in Palestinian refugee camps.

In cooperation with its Palestinian partner organizations the CPS offers 'safe spaces' where alternative methods, such as cultural pedagogy and art, are developed to promote prospects of life free from violence and to strengthen peaceful social structures. GIZ is currently seeking qualified locally registered vendors to purchase
