Senior QA Engineer - Web Development
We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our web development team. The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts across our web applications, establish QA processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for web applications
- Create and maintain automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices across the organization
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
- Create and maintain test documentation and reporting systems
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of QA experience in web applications
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit, Jest, Pytest)
- Proficiency in PHP/Laravel, NodeJS, and Python
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Laravel testing ecosystem
- Knowledge of security testing principles
- Experience with mobile web testing
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Background in PHP/Laravel development
