PS Core Engineer

Role Summary:

Packet Core Network Engineer will be responsible for performing various operational and maintenance activities related to packet core networks. This includes managing and maintaining critical systems such as AAA, DNS servers, SGSN, and GGSN.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing operation and maintenance activities.

• Performing the daily, weekly, and monthly routine health check and backups.

• Participate in monitoring packet core network performance and assisting in troubleshooting network issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate packet core network solutions with other network elements and systems.

• Performing all planned and unplanned activities.

• Performing all the required acceptance tests.

• Reporting all O&M activities to the PS Team Leader.

• Implementing any modifications to the plan as required by the planning team.

• Performing maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.

• Analyse performance reports to identify areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to improve and address related issues.

• Providing support for billing and customer care departments.

• Ensuring the quality of work delivered.

Work Experience & Qualifications::

• Fresh graduated is acceptable.

• basic knowledge in UNIX based systems.

• Jerusalem ID is a plus.

• Good understanding of GSM abbreviations is a plus.

• CCNA certification is a plus.

• VMWare\cloud services certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of AAA and DNS services is a plus.

• Flexibility doesn’t mind being 24/7/365 on call.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Highly motivated team player.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science\ Computer Engineering\Telecom Engineering or equivalent.

• Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).

• Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
