SOS Children’s Villages works in 136 countries to support families and help children at risk grow up in a loving home. For more than 60 years, we have worked with partners in each community to either help families care for their children or to provide an alternative, for instance an SOS family, in which the love of a carer is essential. Everything we do is based on the best interests of the child, and each has an individual development plan. Uniquely, we provide practical support over the long term, so that each child or young person can develop resilient relationships and face life’s challenges in the future.

In Palestine we have two villages one in Bethlehem and the other is Gaza-rafah

Bethlehem SOS Children's Village; was established in 1966 and was the first of its kind in the Middle East. Recently there are 110 children living in 14 houses (7-9) children living in each house. There is also a house for the village director in each village, as well one of these houses is designated for the Aunties (8) who work to support the SOS mothers and look after the children when the mother is absent.

Rafah SOS Children's Village; Currently there are 111 children in the village, Our SOS Village consists of 12 houses with approximately 7-9 children residing in each house; Our Village also includes a house for SOS Rafah Village Director one of these houses is designated for the Aunties (8) who work to support the SOS mothers and look after the children when the mothers is absent
